S 20 is a liquid, acidic, foam-inhibited cleaning concentrate for ultrasonic, immersion and spray cleaning of acid-resistant items and medical products, such as medical and laboratory instruments and implants, made of stainless steel, glass, ceramic and plastic.

S 20 removes limescale/lime soap deposits (generally calcium and magnesium-bound impurities), metal oxides (rust), and mineral contaminants, as well as fluxes; mineral oils and greases (animal and vegetable fats and oils must be pre-cleaned with an alkaline solution), fingerprints, and dust. It does not brighten metal surfaces tarnished by thermal action.

The product is suitable for acidic basic cleaning of medical instruments and (ceramic) implants.

Perform acidic deep cleaning of medical instruments periodically, e.g., every six months. Separate any instruments with rust and clean them with S20. This will remove, for example, brown/grey deposits from disinfectants/cleaners after autoclaving and dark stains from autoclaved blood residue.

Not suitable for aluminum, magnesium, and light metal alloys. Test acid-sensitive glasses before use. Caution: Tarnish may occur if different metals are used simultaneously in the same cleaning bath.
