ELC S15 – Cleaning and passivation in one step.

This mildly acidic, liquid cleaning concentrate is used for the efficient ultrasonic cleaning and passivation of medical instruments, implants, laboratory equipment, and technical workpieces. It combines effective cleaning with targeted surface treatment for maximum material care and preservation of function.

For the following surfaces:
  • Stainless steel and chromium-alloyed steels
  • Non-ferrous metals
  • Aluminium and light metals
  • Glass and plastics
  • Brass and copper-containing alloys (are optically brightened)
Effective for:
  • Fats and oils
  • Oxide layers
  • rust
  • lime

Deliberately passiveized:
The selective removal of oxidized iron atoms increases the chromium content on the surface, thus contributing to improved corrosion resistance.

Important to know:

To avoid possible greying of stainless steel, please use the improved product ELC S16.
S15 is approved as a Class I medical device according to the MDR.
